For doing her job\, she was prosecuted in Canada’s longest and most costly police disciplinary hearing. \nHer case has resulted in police officers needing to first seek permission to investigate public officials or crimes with “political ramifications”. Police no longer are free to act on evidence and their sworn duty to uphold the law. \nFilm producer Todd Harris is producing a full length documentary titled – Silencing Detective Grus.
